ABOUT THE PROMOTER

Steve Quercio has been involved in Motor sports Marketing / Promotion for over 30 years. He started out in the 60's selling Racing Magazines at Drag Strips like San Fernando, Lion's Drag Strip and Irwindale. He worked his way up to promoting independent drag races at various drag strips in California with racers such as "Big Daddy Don Garlits", "Shirley", "Mongoose" and many more.

Deciding on a change of pace, he started in the "Rock" concert business. He took a little club band from Hollywood and put them in the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium with Elvira, Race Cars and John Force in front of a sell out crowd. Oh yeah, the baby band was Motley Crue. When asked if wanted to manage Motley Crue, he brilliantly turned them down (big mistake) and said he wanted to just promote Motor Sports.

In 1980 he created a relationship with Funny Car race John Force. The two worked on structuring sponsorships, booking race dates and helping Force go professional on the AHRA circuit. This was all before Austin Coil. If you know anything about Motor sports, you know what John Force has accomplished.

Deciding to get back into Motor sports, Quercio jumped into the promotion of "Monster Truck" shows. For the last 15 years he has produced hundreds of events across the United States. He has worked with such Monster Trucks as "Grave Digger", "Big Foot", "Monster Patrol and many more. Deciding to add flair to the show, he built the "Blast From the Past" Jet truck that did a SPECTACULAR JET MELTDOWN SHOW on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jay, being a car nut, loved the Jet and had a great time with the comedy bit they did.

Currently Quercio performs a FUN family Monster Truck Package that has found a home in the secondary markets. This brings great entertainment into places that don't have an opportunity to see Monster Truck Shows.

Steve has been married for 30 years. He has 2 kids and 5 grandchildren. His strong family values show in his events. He gives free Monster Truck toys to the kids and even has a Real Monster Truck that the kids can ride in.

Steve Quercio is an Old School Promoter that knows how to promote a crowd, rather than buy one. If you are thinking of working with him, it will be an experience!
